Here are some links, and you can choose your favorite.
The bus stop game where there is a person in the car and they pick up someone that has a certain personality like freaking out because the cops are after them…then the person who is “driving” in the car has to take on their personality
I LOVE ACTING GAMES!!!
okay here we go:
Party Quirks- A classic. One person is the host of a “party” and three other people attend the party, acting as a quirk- like a certain famous person or neurodic behavior. (Think - germaphobic, ocd). The host has to guess what quirk the guests are trying to portray.
Freeze- Another classic. Two people start a scene. Someone on the outside of the scene yells freeze! and the scene freezes. Then that person takes the place of someone in the scene and starts with a different scene.
A more serious acting game is Numbers- This game focuses on your listening skills. Everyone sits in a circle with their eyes closed. Then, you have to try to count as high as possible, one person at a time, without two people saying the same number at once. This game is hard to perfect but really helps.
Another great game helps with physical acting. One person thinks up an adjective. For instance sad. Then they have to try to portray that emotion using only body language and everyone else has to try to guess what emotion they are.
Good luck with your lesson!
