Drama Games?
I have to lead a warm up in my drama class, of about 25, aged like 14-16. I’m looking for some good games that will get the class moving and active but are fun to play. Anything helps, thanks!

I liked to put everyone in a circle and play catch with an imaginary ball, they could not throw it to the person next to them and they could not try to fool anyone, after a while of playing while being coached to make the ball real and to see the ball and to feel the ball, you change the ball to being very very light like a balloon. Then to being very very heavy like a bowling ball. Another fun game was to pass a gesture or action around the circle, then add a noise that accompanies the gesture.
the stepping game is good
u take 4 steps to the right, 4 steps to the left, 3 steps to the right, 3 steps to the left, 2 steps to the right, 2 steps to the left, 1 step to the right, 1 step to the left, then half the group go into the middle and start when the outside group reaches to 4 the inside group starts , and you cary on like that 2 times.
It really helps u consentrate
Well there’s one acting game that I just LOVE and it’s hilarious to watch, too. It’s called Freeze. What you do is 2 people start out acting out a random scene (it doesn’t have to be from a play or a movie, though) and they act out a skit until someone who’s not in the scene says freeze. Then the 2 people acting freeze in whatever position they’re in and the person who said freeze taps one of the 2 people on the shoulder and freezes in their same position while the other person who got tapped on the shoulder sits out. Then, he says unfreeze and a whole new different scene that had nothing to do with the last scene starts off with the same positions as the last scene—if that makes any sense. For example, if when someone said freeze, they tapped someone on the shoulder who was pointing and he took that position, then he and the other person in the scene would have to act out a totally new scene where someone was pointing but it can’t have anything to do with the last scene. It may not sound like fun, but it’s really entertaining and good improv practice!
