What is it that i am looking for? I am not into the Drama stuff like at my school but I like think i would really like acting but I have never done anything before. I have performed in Dance for 9 years and done cheerleading for 2 years (cheering in front of crowds at football games and huge competitions..also pep rallies in front of my whole school..) but i am still in my shell a little bit..hard to beleive because i perform in front of the whole school…where should i start? and what should i do??
Sometimes it’s not drama that makes a great career it’s an unusual voice or comedy. Look back at Carol Burnett, quick wit, funny, not vulgar, stuck it out and eventually made it.
You wouldn’t be the first one to go into acting with a background of dance but I think it would help you as having an additional talent.
With more of a dance background, you’ll want to check out musical theatre. If you’re feeling a little shy, just try out for a chorus part at your high school. You won’t have to belt a solo your first time onstage, or do any intense acting. Chorus parts are great ways to show your interest and get involved in other areas of theatre. Not too mention the fact that they’re really fun!!!

I’m sorry. You aren’t making sense Acting is drama and drama is acting. so if you arent interested in acting you are interested in drama and if you are interested in drama you are interested in acting. Sorry, I don’t mean to get all Dr. Suess it’s just your question doesn’t make sense.
