Should I Publish this Book? Is it good Enough?

I am about to write a book about Middle School. Its a book with Drama, Fights, teasing, and a lot of things Middle School Kids Face. And its all true. I have all my friends with different names so these are real problems with real people.I keep a journal until the end of football season. there is a lot of drama at the games and just during the school year.Like Rumors. Reallationships, people breaking up and just random things. My journal will be turned into a book. I will kind of detail it more and not make it sound like a journal. It will just be a book. Do u think it is good enough?

Sounds like a good book for the teenage population to see how others dealt with the same problems they are dealing with now.

    Every book should be written.
Kinko’s will print books for $2-$4 a piece and print as few as a dozen.
But be prepared to have friends recognize themselves and misunderstand your portrayal of them.

    Of course!

You’re going to make big bucks.
How about 90% for me and 10% for you?

    Y’know what I mean?

Dude, you should do it as soon as possible, you sound very talented!

It has pretty good potential & it could be a wonderful character study. If you can get it published professionally, it could be a wonderful start to a writing career. If not, then you might be able to do it privately & who knows where that might go.

Make your journal into a novel & good luck!

A good book has a plot. What is the point, the action the need for the hero or heroin to achieve. It has good well drawn characters who have definite points of view, habits and other distinguishing characteristics. A journal may be a good basis for a book but you’re going to have to build a cohesive story around it. I think stories for that age group would be very commercial but please understand what a story is all about before you get started. (Talk with your English Teacher.) And, above all, make sure you use a grammar coach and a spell checker.

I think it sounds interesting and you should pursue interests. I would try a free publishing site that will sell and publish your book for you. I love this site, check it out:

No, you would have to get someone who knows more than rudimentary English to write it for you.
