In the play, “Promise You Won’t Get Mad,” boys discover a way to play arcade games without paying for them. Is what they are doing really stealing? “It’s Not A Party. It’s A Get-Together” deals with peer pressure, lying to parents and taking responsibility. “Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore Art Thou Costume?” takes a look at the power of rumor and gossip, and “Election Day Blues” looks at the ups and downs of taking a risk.
The plays include questions for discussion, writing topics and other activities that will challenge students to think. Each play runs approximately 20-25 minutes and includes 15-17 roles. END
