A Musical Theatre or Disney piece suitable for a performing arts hs audition?

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

Hi
I was wondering is there any disney songs or musical theatre pieces that are great to sing at a audition for a performing arts hs.I would like something easy to learn and /or that shows off my vocal ability.Right now I am practicing Over the rainbow by Judy Garland from The Wizard Of Oz but I would like a backup song.Should I stick with Over the Rainbow? If yes,why do you feel that way?

P.S. I know this song isn’t disney but is Run and tell that from Hairspray and/or Come So Far from Hairspray good songs to sing?

Also I’m a female so I hope that helps you help me

Thanks in advance

I was told a musical or classical theatre piece but when i went to the school they said disney was acceptable too,so I’ll take input towards musical(preferably this) or classical theatre pieces also.
